5. Telecare Services

Our telecare services are provided exclusively within the United Kingdom for clients based in the United Kingdom. These services consist of video consultations with veterinarians specialising in exotic animals. It is essential to note that these services are intended solely for non-emergency situations and expressly exclude diagnoses or the prescription of medications. The animals cannot be physically examined or visited in person, and under no circumstances shall they be considered “under care” as defined by veterinary regulations. Please contact your registered veterinary clinic for specific questions about your pet’s medication, prescriptions and repeat prescriptions

5.1 Service Details

To access the service, clients must register on our website.
Upon registration, clients must input details about their pets, such as diet, weight, and age.
Appointments can be scheduled for video or phone consultations within available time slots.
Each consultation will last 20 minutes, and clients will receive a summary of the visit via their personal user page and email.
Automatic or scheduled emails may be sent to clients for updates and appointment confirmations.

5.2 Payment and Cancellation

Payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations can be made up to 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment for a full refund.
In the event that the service cannot be rendered due to client being unable to use the device, such as the client’s inability to use the video call platform or failure to have an updated browser, Exotics Care Online Ltd shall attempt to contact the client using the client’s phone number provided at the time of registration. If the client does not respond to two telephone phone calls or if the connection issue is not resolved within two telephone phone calls, Exotics Care Online Ltd shall be relieved from providing the service. In such cases, the fee paid by the client will be retained in full, and no refunds shall be issued.

6. Consultants

The veterinarians providing telecare services through our platform act as independent consultants. They are licensed and registered with, or members of, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. These consultants bear full responsibility for the services they provide to clients. Exotics Care Online Ltd shall not be liable for any acts or omissions by these consultants.
